Exponent Partners is seeking experienced technology professionals to lead salesforce.com implementation projects with a variety of nonprofit
organizations. Successful candidates will be highly experienced both in
deploying CRM solutions as well as in designing and deploying other custom
business applications.
About this Job
Leading candidates for the Senior Consultant role will be highly experienced
both in deploying CRM solutions as well as in designing and deploying other
custom business applications. Senior Consultants function as project and
technical lead on smaller projects, and work with a dedicated project
manager on larger projects. Deep technical skills, strong requirements
analysis and documentation capability, solution design skills, and excellent
communication and client management skills are required for this critical
position.
The Senior Consultant reports to the Director of Professional Services and
has the following responsibilities:
- Analyze client business requirements, analyze and design business
processes, and design excellent systems solutions.
- Plan and document key project stages, from requirements and system
specifications to deployment, testing, and acceptance plans.
- Work independently or in teams with other ExP resources to
customize Salesforce.com, integrate third-party tools, migrate data, train
clients, and provide ongoing support.
- Ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time, on budget, and
at sector-leading levels of quality and client satisfaction.
- Maintain high levels of current skills in software-as-a-service
(SaaS) architecture, solution design, and salesforce.com technologies and
best practices.
- Play an active role in development of nonprofit sector best
practices and contribute to ExP's mission of improving the use of
information technology in civil society.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in computer science,
business management, or a related field, and will have at minimum five
years' experience in the information technology field. Strengths in systems
thinking and nonprofit sector experience are highly valued.
- 5+ years in an information technology consulting role, delivering
projects to multiple clients.
- 3+ years implementing, configuring, and administering CRM systems
such as Salesforce.com, Siebel, or others. Extensive experience designing
and implementing database-driven business applications with MS-SQL, Oracle,
mySQL, etc. may also qualify.
- Strong experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications,
including XML, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and
integrating technology tools into a client solution.
- Experience with data migration practices, ETL tools, and enterprise
integration technologies.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and determined to produce high-quality,
on-time work. Strong business process focus and skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven project management
abilities.
- Possess a sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an easy-going
manner when working with others.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as applied in
systems documentation, client meetings, team interaction, and everything in
between.
