As Senior Marketing Manager, Kat helps our nonprofit clients share their Salesforce success stories.
Kat Ferreira joins Exponent Partners with a blended background in the nonprofit and tech sectors. Her experience spans nonprofit management, public policy research, fundraising, advocacy campaigns, marketing, and social media management.
Kat fell in love with Salesforce in 2006 while working at GetActive Software (acquired by Convio/Blackbaud). She went on to help organizations of all sizes use Salesforce to streamline operations, grow constituencies, and improve program outcomes. Kat’s commitment to helping nonprofits leverage technology for positive social impact is what excites her most about joining the Exponent Partners Human Services team as an Account Executive.
Passionate about social issues impacting her community, Kat regularly volunteers with a variety of local grassroots organizations. She also contributes to the Oakland Voices community journalism project, which, in collaboration with KALW Public Radio’s “Sights & Sounds of East Oakland” program, recently received the Northern California Society of Professional Journalists Excellence in Journalism award. When she is not online, she enjoys walking her dog along the shores of Oakland’s urban waterways and marveling at the San Francisco Bay Area’s resilient wildlife.
Kat earned a B.A. (Honors) in Sociology from Mills College.
